Moon Over Massachusetts! Day 2

The front yard landscaping includes several raised beds of vegetables!  The red things are ripe Roma tomatoes.

The birdbath area in the front yard.

Our day today was quite busy!  Mary went in to work today while Michael went to YMCA day camp.  Dave and I stayed home while landscapers built a walkway from the driveway to the patio in the back yard.  The whole process of digging, getting it level, putting down crushed stone, then leveling it, even before the first brick was laid, was quite interesting.  A new refrigerator was also installed in the kitchen.  Then Dave and I did a few errands around town.

FYI: a clue to a successful family visit is that the visitor should expect to fit into the family schedule.

Almost finished with a brick sidewalk in the back.

They raise the prettiest chickens - for the eggs!  The chickens are quite interesting to watch.  The Rooster is on the left side here.

After Mary and I took Michael for an eye exam, we went home to a pizza dinner.  We spent the rest of our evening on the deck with our feet propped up on the fire pit.

It was chilly enough after sunset that the blazing fire was quite welcome!  Mary is in the back at the pub table.

Mary and Dave, enjoying a quite moment by the fire.

A full moon over Massachusetts!

Nothing could be better than family visits!: a time to catch up on news, remember past fun times, and plan for the day's activities tomorrow!
