South to Lake Cumberland Again!

Gail and I also delivered 'goody bags' to more clinics today.  From Lexington, we drove southeast to Danville and Somerset.  While I've previously blogged about the extreme south end of Lake Cumberland at Jamestown, Somerset is at the extreme north end.  We visited all these places one year ago; it was good to see friendly, familiar faces and places.

When finished, we headed west to I-75 again and ended up north of Lexington in Georgetown where our fellow association member, Sonia, works.  She was busy in a meeting but we 'connected' with the other nurses.

Lake Cumberland, at Somerset, Kentucky, U.S.A.

It was a delightful, sunny day today.  We were pleased to travel half as far to get our mission accomplished.  Somerset is a booming, lake town.  It seemed as if every other vehicle was pulling a boat!
