When I started this Travel Blog in May, I not only wanted to share my experiences, both on site traveling but journeys through the pages of my old National Geographic collection, I was hoping that YOU would share with me your experiences and thoughts. Especially I was looking for your suggestions for good places to go on my upcoming trips.
Blog writers get the 'count' - the number of 'pageviews' on each blog. "Rocking Thru the World" has over 700 to date. But - BUT - there have been hardly any comments. My 'blogmaster', Dave, my son-in-law who has helped me set this up and greatly encouraged me, was visiting this past week from Boston. Also with him was his wife, my daughter #5, Mary, and their delightful curly-headed son, Matthew.
Dave told me that I hadn't set up the 'comments' section to be easy for folks to use. So we did it! Now, if you'd like to comment or share or criticize or whatever, it's easy! Just go to the Blue Box under the blog & click on 'Comment' or 'No comments'. Then you can choose whether or not to sign in or just be 'anonymous.' Click one of those boxes & you're on your way. Really, I think it's too burdensome to sign in every time so 'anonymous' is much faster!
Two weeks from now I'll be in Hawaii with my daughter #4, Theresa, so any suggestions for great places or things to do (or not) would be very helpful. I've had questions, "Are you flying direct?" No, we're going from Lexington to Charlotte to Phoenix to Hawaii. I may be lazy, but I decided, "why should I put my suitcase (from the last trip) in the attic when I'll be getting it right out again!"
